On friday, august 10, 2001, thanks to the collaboration of the Nautical Society of the Jousters from Agde and the city of Vias, the first jousts tournament, called "Challenge Navarette" the name of a former local sportsman,has been organized. The success of this demonstration lets augur a long life in this tournament. Furthermore, the first edition was gained by Thierry Lognos... inhabitant Vias.

Regional France's championships final organized by Retro Dance's Club knew a big popular success. Following this evening, the decision was begun to enrich the feasts calendar. Eleven demonstration more punctuate the calendar of Vias : evenings variety show, spectacles, concerts and evening cabaret to animate the town winter as summer.

A competition of sand castle, in august, entails in each of its édition always more participations. Tall and small competitors are in confrontation by building sand castles on the beach of "Farinette" shielded by breakwaters.

The young people home welcomes the youth of Vias in its premises street of the Republic and organize a lots of activities, manifestations, educational and relaxation releases, competitions, tournaments, journalism activity, initition into the data processing...
